NAMB keeps mission moving forward during year of challenges

ALPHARETTA, Ga.— With nearly every aspect of life and ministry impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, the North American Mission Board (NAMB) adjusted its priorities to ensure that the mission of sharing the gospel would move forward.

Send Relief announced joint IMB, NAMB ahead of making worldwide impact in 2020

ALPHARETTA, Ga. (BP) – Send Relief began 2020 with the historic announcement that the North American Mission Board (NAMB) and the International Mission Board (IMB) would begin coordinating compassion ministry efforts. That news was followed shortly by word that Bryant Wright, longtime pastor of Johnson Ferry Baptist Church in Atlanta and a past President of the Southern Baptist Convention, would lead the effort.

Para muchos de nosotros, esta Navidad será un poco diferente debido a la pandemia que estamos sufriendo. Por ejemplo, este año nuestra familia no se reunirá, como de costumbre, ya que mi hija y su familia no podrán venir desde España por las regulaciones impuestas, así que tendremos una reunión familiar reducida. Tampoco tendremos el ajetreo normal de estos días para acomodar a los visitantes, lo que nos permitirá concentrarnos más en el motivo real de esta celebración que es el nacimiento de nuestro Señor y Salvador Jesucristo.
