Owens elected interim FBC executive-director
LEESBURG, Fla. (BP) -- Glen Owens, who has served for 25 years as the assistant executive director of the Florida Baptist Convention, has been elected as interim executive director-treasurer of the Florida Baptist Convention, effective March 1. He will carry out official duties and tasks previously performed by John Sullivan, who will retire from the Florida Baptist Convention after 26 years as executive director-treasurer Feb. 28. Owens has served as Sullivan's primary associate since 1989.
