WMU and the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering are celebrating their 125th anniversary this year. Wanda Lee, executive director/treasurer of WMU, explains the first missions offering for international missions was the result of pleas from Lottie Moon to the women of the churches to send more workers to China to help share the Gospel with so many who had never heard.

People may debate politics, sports and theology, but there comes a time to heed Christ's call to action "among the many who do not know the one true source of peace," Wanda Lee of Woman's Missionary Union writes.
