Atlanta Falcons to use Furman facilities; Samford wins overtime thriller vs. CSU

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (BP)-The Atlanta Falcons have announced plans to hold their summer football camp at Furman University. This marks the third year that the NFL team has utilized Furman’s athletic facilities.

Meanwhile, Samford University pulled off an overtime win against Charleston Southern University, to win a soggy homecoming football game.

The overtime victory gave the Bulldogs a much-needed boost in the waning days of the 2000 football campaign.
