NASHVILLE (BP) — B&H Publishing Group has garnered seven awards from the Spanish Evangelical Publishers Association, including Publisher of the Year.
B&H also received SEPA’s Book of the Year award for “La Resolución para Hombres” (The Resolution for Men) by Stephen and Alex Kendrick while the Kendricks’ continuing bestseller “El Desafío del Amor” (The Love Dare) was recognized for selling more than 250,000 copies.
In addition, B&H was honored with bestseller awards in:
— Reference books: “Diccionario Bíblico Ilustrado Holman” (Holman Illustrated Bible Dictionary).
— Text Bibles: “Biblia para Regalos y Premios” (RVR 1960 Gift & Award Bible).
— Specialty Bibles: “Biblia Letra Grande Tamaño Manual con Referencias” (Hand Size Giant Print Bible).
— Study Bibles with notes: “Biblia de estudio Arco Iris” (Rainbow Study Bible)
“This is the first time we’ve received Publisher of the Year from SEPA,” B&H President Selma Wilson said of the honors during the group’s annual meeting in early May in Atlanta, “and we thank God for all seven of these honors. We love providing biblical resources for our Spanish-speaking brothers and sisters. I am so proud of our team for their hard work, commitment to excellence and passion for the Gospel.”
SEPA is a focal point within the evangelical publishing community and among various organizations involved in Spanish-language ministry. It works to encourage dialogue, organize activities and events that promote the distribution of Christian resources.
B&H is the world’s top trade publisher of Spanish Bibles as well as the top commercial publisher for the RVR 1960 Bible translation. The B&H Español team was formed nearly 30 years ago to publish Spanish Bibles for the church worldwide.
On July 1 B&H will release “Biblia del Pescador” (Fisher of Men Bible), a unique Bible in Spanish that focuses on evangelism, discipleship and ministry. Edited by Luis Ángel Díaz-Pabón, president of the Global Missionary Society, its first print run will be among the largest for Bibles in B&H history.
