In 1996, Nancy Lublin received a $5,000 inheritance from her great-grandfather, an immigrant from Eastern Europe who had come to America with nothing but the will to forge a better life. Nancy wanted to honor his memory, so she used that inheritance to help other people “blaze new beginnings too.” Dress for Success was born the following year. An international nonprofit organization that offers services to help disadvantaged women find jobs and remain employed, Dress for Success provides professional attire, a support network and career development tools to their clients.
