Bible teaching-reaching, Centrifuge join BSSB site

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (BP)–Three new areas have been added to Sunday School Board Online, the official World Wide Web site of Sunday School Board of the Southern Baptist Convention.
The adult and preschool biblical studies sections of the BSSB Bible teaching-reaching division, and Centrifuge, the summer camps program housed in the board’s discipleship and family development division, all went live on the net week of Nov. 9-15. The sites can be accessed by clicking on “SSB Sites” in the left column of the Sunday School Board Online banner page, located at www.bssb.com.
“BibleInsites,” located at www.bssb.com/BibleInsites, is the adult biblical studies section’s site. Features include information about resources for ongoing and short-term Bible studies, Bible study events, devotional resources, multimedia Bible study resources and an option for guest feedback. Also included is “Adult EXTRA!” weekly teaching supplements drawn from current events, statistics and media illustrations that relate to Bible study lessons in all three of the SSB’s Sunday school curriculum series. Future plans call for the addition of articles and resources for the adult Bible study leader and the leadership team and articles designed to help Bible study teachers and learners share their faith with non-Christians.
“PRESource,” designed as a resource for preschool Bible teaching, is located at www.bssb.com/presource. Features include information about preschool Bible study resources; new product information; information about resources for special events, teacher training materials, teaching picture sets, and a leisure reading magazine; and guest feedback. Also included are articles on a variety of subjects, such as “Planning for Success,” “Affirming Parents,” “Child Communication,” “Cleaning Toys” and “Helps for Enlisting Preschool Teachers.” In addition, “Teaching Preschool Sixes,” weekly teaching suggestions for kindergarten teachers, also are posted on the site.
The Centrifuge site, subtitled “Your Complete Guide to the Best Christian Summer Camps,” is located at www.bssb.com/fuge. Features include information about Centrifuge and M-Fuge camps, events and resources; camp locations; guest feedback; and information about how to become a Centrifuge staff member. Future plans call for the addition of information about Centrifuge and M-Fuge alumni.
