Broadman & Holman book wins Gold Medallion Award

ORLANDO, Fla. (BP)–For the third year in a row, a Broadman & Holman book took home a Gold Medallion Award July 10 from the Evangelical Christian Publishers Association during the 1999 Christian Booksellers Association meeting in Orlando, Fla.
“What Would Jesus Do Today?” by Brian Shipman won a Gold Medallion Award in the youth category during the 22nd annual competition.
Categories ranged from Bibles to reference works to fiction and Christian living. Five titles are nominated within each category, and books are judged on content, literary quality, design and significance of the contribution.
Four books published by B&H were selected as finalists in the 1999 Gold Medallion Awards Competition. The others were “Until He Comes: Daily Inspiration for Those Who Await the Savior” by Calvin Miller; “Every Day Light: Water for the Soul” by Selwyn Hughes; and “The One Minute Bible: Men of Character” by Lawrence Kimbrough.
