Broadman & Holman books make best-seller lists

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (BP)–In a first for the Baptist Sunday School Board’s Broadman & Holman Publishers, three books made January best-seller lists of the Christian Booksellers Association Marketplace.

The B&H edition of “Experiencing God” by Henry Blackaby and Claude King ranked 12th in the clothbound nonfiction category; “Anonymous Tip,” a novel by Michael Farris was 10th on the paperback fiction list; and the “Here’s Hope NIV New Testament ranked ninth in the best-selling mass-market paperbacks category.

B&H Publisher Ken Stephens said he anticipates “seeing more projects rising to the top. “We have put together a stellar list of titles for our fall 1997 catalog, and in the near future B&H will become recognized as a consistent producer of ‘best-seller’ caliber products.”

January CBA Marketplace lists were based on actual sales in Christian retail stores in the United States and Canada during November.
