NASHVILLE, Tenn. (BP)–W. Phillip Burgess, an executive with 20 years of experience in hotel management, marketing and training, has been named national sales and marketing manager for LifeWay Conference Centers at Glorieta, N.M., and Ridgecrest, N.C.

Burgess assumed his new position July 9.

Also, Brian Daniel, event ministry specialist at LifeWay Glorieta Conference Center, will become national sales and event planner specialist, based in Nashville, Tenn., and reporting to Burgess.

“I am grateful to have someone of Phill’s experience and Christian commitment to serve in this critical role,” said Byron Hill, director of LifeWay Conference Centers. “Filling this key position is another step in our process of revitalizing Glorieta and Ridgecrest in their ministry of meeting spiritual needs.”

Hill said the selection of Burgess and Daniel complete the national staff of the centers.
