[1]CORRECTION: In the (BP) story, “Southern Seminary ‘shocked and offended’ by inaccurate ABP news story, Smith says,” dated 12/1/99, the final text of Smith’s statement, as cited in the 3rd paragraph from the bottom, used the words “deeply offensive” rather than “entirely unprofessional and irresponsible.”
Also, please correct the 1st paragraph to note that both versions of the disputed news story were dated Nov. 30.
