In the (BP) story titled “SWBTS hires 1 professor, promotes 5, gives 1 tenure,” dated 3/13/97, please make the following corrections:
— The position identified in the third paragraph should be instructor in theology, not assistant professor of New Testament.
— The eighth paragraph’s first sentence should read: Harmon also is a teaching fellow at Southwestern’s main campus and its extension center in Shawnee, Okla.
— The 13th paragraph should read, “Harmon told reporters issues included a letter he wrote to the Baptist Standard, the weekly newsjournal of the Baptist General Convention of Texas, about the firing of former Southwestern President Russell Dilday, and his views on women as senior pastors of churches.
