CORRECTION: In (BP) story, “N.C. convention elects conservative president,” dated 11/13/97, please correct the 21st paragraph by deleting the 2nd and 3rd sentences, which begin, “The motion was ruled out of order …,” and replace the sentences with a single sentence: The motion was defeated.
