WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (BP)–The Wake Forest baseball team defeated UNC Greensboro 11-9 at Gene Hooks Stadium April 4 to improve to 20-10 on the season.
Wake Forest and UNC Greensboro combined for 20 runs and 24 hits to go with six errors. All nine Demon Deacon batters reached base and eight players had hits. Junior shortstop Jamie Athas led the Deacon offensive assault with two doubles, four hits in all, and two stolen bases.
