EDITORS’ NOTE (Warren’s visit to Syria buffeted by government’s ‘PR blast’): Baptist Press incorrectly attributed the phrase “purpose driven terrorism” to Joseph Farah and not Mark Tooley.
Likewise, Baptist Press paraphrased Farah to say he was calling Warren “a traitor to his own country.” Farah stated, “I accused him of betraying his own country in a hostile foreign land and of being a propaganda tool of the Islamo-fascist regime in Damascus.”
The revised article now posted on Baptist Press corrects both errors.
