[1]MONTREAL (BP)–Gardner-Webb junior Sylvia Chelimo’s recent trip to Canada turned out to be a fruitful venture, as the Kampala, Uganda, native finished eighth in the McGill International Track Meet with a time of 16:24.01 in the 5,000-meter finals.
Chelimo will compete for her home country in the World University Games in Beijing, later this summer.
