Hemphill to appear on ‘Life Today’

FORT WORTH, Texas (BP)–Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary President Kenneth S. Hemphill will appear on “Life Today with James Robison” July 29.

Robison invited Hemphill on the program to discuss his books, “The Names of God” and “The Prayer of Jesus.” The program was taped before a studio audience May 28.

“Life Today,” named 2002 Television Program of the Year by the National Religious Broadcasters, is broadcast to more than 120 million homes each weekday in the United States, Canada, Australia and in countries throughout Europe.

Robison has hosted public figures such as then-presidential candidate George W. Bush, and celebrities such as Robert Duvall and Chuck Norris. Spiritual leaders such as Franklin Graham and Christian musicians such as Michael W. Smith and CeCe Winans also have appeared on the program.

Hemphill is the first Southern Baptist seminary president to appear on the program.
