FORT WORTH, Texas (BP)–Janet Parshall, host of a nationally syndicated daily radio program, will bring her award-winning show to FamilyNet television beginning Oct. 18.

“Janet Parshall’s America” will air weeknights from 7-8 p.m. ET on FamilyNet TV. The show originates from Washington, D.C.

“Janet Parshall is one of the brightest and most articulate personalities in Christian radio,” said Martin Coleman, FamilyNet vice president of programming. “Time seems to stand still when you listen to her because her insight is so riveting. Many of our viewers know Janet already, but those who don’t are in for a treat.”

Parshall’s radio program is one of the few nationally syndicated conservative talk shows in America hosted by a woman. Throughout her career, Parshall has been an advocate of pro-family policies.

Guests on her program have included senators, representatives, authors, film producers, religious leaders and pro-family advocates.

She has appeared on such television programs as “Crossfire,” “Hardball,” “Nightline,” “Larry King Live,” “Donahue,” “The 700 Club,” and “Late Night with Aaron Brown.”

Parshall has represented the conservative viewpoint in debates with Gloria Steinem, Patricia Ireland, Eleanor Smeal, Keith Geiger and Barry Lynn.

“The world of broadcasting is the quintessential marketplace of ideas,” Parshall said. “With all that is being sold, it is imperative that the American television viewing audience have the opportunity to see programming originating from the nation’s capital that views the news based on facts, not imagination. ‘Janet Parshall’s America’ is programming designed to deliver what America wants.”
