As Southern Baptists prepare to travel to Anaheim for the 2022 SBC Annual Meeting, the three known presidential candidates have submitted First-Person style essays to Baptist Press. Robin Hadaway, Bart Barber and Tom Ascol have been previously interviewed by BP. In addition, BP covered a candidate forum in Keller, Texas, on May 4.
Nominations for SBC president can be made by any messenger up until the closing of the nominations at the annual meeting. The election of officers is scheduled to begin at 3:20 p.m. on June 14.
