NASHVILLE, Tenn. (BP)–Church leaders now have the opportunity to experience Ministry Insights behavioral assessment at no cost.

LifeWay Christian Resources of the Southern Baptist Convention is offering one free Insights on-line assessment to each SBC church. Pastors are invited to use the complimentary evaluation to learn more about the many ways the Insights family of tools can meet various ministry needs. The on-line survey takes 10 minutes to complete, and produces an immediate, in-depth report. The free test is located at www.lifeway.com/insights [2].

“Ministry is all about relationships,” said Gary McClure of LifeWay’s Internet Ministries group. “The Insights assessments are great tools for helping people understand their own behavioral strengths and those of people important to them. We are delighted to offer these evaluations and other free supporting materials online so churches can enhance relationships at all levels of ministry.”

The Ministry Insights assessment was created by best-selling author John Trent and provides analysis of a person’s unique behavioral strengths and communication style. When implemented by a group, the tool allows participants to effectively blend differences with colleagues, discover what motivates a fellow staff member and create ways to avoid conflict with others. Insights assessments have been used extensively in pen-and-paper form for more than two decades.

The Ministry Insights report is one of five on-line assessments available from the LifeWay Insights family of products. Family Insights consists of both parent and teen versions to provide concepts that will build understanding and blend differences between parent and teenager. Marriage Insights focuses specifically on the relationship between husband and wife and can be a catalyst for positive changes and appreciation within the marriage.

The two latest products from the LifeWay Insights offering of products are Workplace Insights and Position Insights. Workplace Insights was created to help an organization’s leadership determine the interpersonal dynamics and motivating tendencies that shape the office setting. Position Insights defines the requirements of a job and matches the position to the right candidate.
