ST. LOUIS (BP) — LifeWay Christian Resources will provide a free breakfast for pastors and screen two new movies at the Southern Baptist Convention annual meeting in St. Louis this summer.

The focus of the LifeWay Pastors’ Breakfast will be “Leading Change in the Church,” featuring LifeWay President and CEO Thom S. Rainer, followed by a panel discussion of critical issues in effectively navigating change.

The panel will include Ron Edmondson, Immanuel Baptist Church, Lexington, Ky.; Sam Rainer, West Bradenton Baptist Church, Bradenton, Fla.; Jimmy Scroggins, Family Church, West Palm Beach, Fla.; and Kevin Smith, Highview Baptist Church, Louisville, Ky. Eric Geiger, vice president of LifeWay’s Resources Division, will serve as moderator.

The free buffet breakfast will be held Wednesday, June 15, 2016, beginning at 7 a.m. in the America’s Center Ballroom, rooms 220-229. Attendees will also receive resources worth more than $100. Because seating is limited, advance reservations can be made at www.lifeway.com/pastorsbreakfast [2].

LifeWay Films will screen “The Insanity of God,” a documentary produced by the International Mission Board that examines experiences of persecuted believers living in China, the Middle East, and former Soviet republics. The film is based on the bestselling book of the same name by Nik Ripken and published by B&H Publishing.

“The Insanity of God” will be shown free of charge in Ferrara Theatre at America’s Center Monday, June 13, at 9 p.m. Tickets are not required, but seating will be limited.

The SBC exhibit hall will feature the LifeWay Christian Store offering a wide selection of books, Bibles, small group study resources and other Christian products. Book signings by bestselling authors will be held in the store throughout the convention.

A special story time for kids will be held in the B&H Publishing Group exhibit area, and children will be able to dress in the “armor of God” for photos.
