[1]NASHVILLE, Tenn. (BP)–LifeWay Christian Resources is making it easier for hearing impaired and Spanish-speaking Christians to study its video-driven products with the addition of closed captioning and Spanish subtitles to some of its more popular items.
Most recently, closed captioning, which enables the spoken word to be translated to the written word on a television screen, has been added to the evangelism study, “Share Jesus Without Fear.” Spanish subtitles have also been included on the product.
LifeWay also offers several other products using closed captioning technology, including “Experiencing God,” “The Seven Realities of Experiencing God,” “The Five Love Languages of Children,” “The Vision of His Glory” and “Breaking Free.”
“It is our policy now to close caption all of our major products,” said Betsy Wedekind, video production coordinator for the discipleship and family group.
Share Jesus is the only product dubbed in Spanish subtitles to date.
