Live family oriented show joins FamilyNet schedule

FORT WORTH, Texas (BP)–“At Home – Live!” a daily morning show featuring hosts Chuck & Jenni Borsellino, premiered April 3 on FamilyNet, the national television network operated by the North American Mission Board’s broadcast communications group.

The show is a live version of the Borsellino’s “Open House,” which has been produced since 1995 from the Borsellino’s former home of Ontario, Canada, and broadcast on FamilyNet for a year. FamilyNet has acquired the program from its former producers, and production is moving to NAMB studios in Fort Worth, Texas. Apart from being live rather than taped, the new show also will include more segments and guests, said producer Trish Ragsdale.

The hour-long, magazine-format program will feature a variety of topics that relate to home, family and relationships — similar to other major network morning shows, but with a Christian perspective. Guests will include celebrities, musicians, speakers and noted authors. The show also will include exercise tips, cooking, home organization, gardening, financial planning, decorating and craft demonstrations.

The Borsellinos are dedicated to preserving and strengthening the home with practical information, timely advice and wise counsel. Chuck is a licensed psychologist, successful seminar speaker and ordained minister. Jenni holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in communications.

“As a psychologist, I have spent many hours in counseling sessions trying to repair damaged relationships in the family,” said Chuck Borsellino. “As a result, Jenni and I are dedicated to turn the corner and bring families back to the principles and priorities God intended — families focused on faith, strengthened healthy parental relationships and equipped to raise children with purpose, conviction and hope for the future.”

FamilyNet, based in Fort Worth, is a full-time television network airing more than 35 hours of original values-based programs weekly. It is available on cable and broadcast stations nationwide, including 145 FamilyNet affiliates and the SkyAngel satellite broadcasting service.
