ATLANTA (BP)–“Jewish Language Congregation Building” will be the theme of the North American Messianic Association Pastor Conference/Luncheon at 11:35 a.m. Tuesday, June 15, in Atlanta.
Among the featured speakers:
— James Austin, NAMA’s president and pastor of Beth Shalom congregation, Helena, Mont., and Congregation of the Messiah, Myrtle Beach, S.C., recipient of South Carolina Baptists’ 1997 baptismal award.
— Gus Elowitz, NAMA vice president and Messianic rabbi of Beth Yeshua HaMashiach congregation in Houston.
— R. Michael Smith, associate pastor/minister of education, First Baptist Church, Pickerington, Ohio; first vice president of the State Convention of Baptists in Ohio; and president of NAMA from 1995-97.
— Robert E. “Bob” Reccord, president of the Southern Baptist North American Mission Board, and Russell Begaye, multiethnic church-planting specialist with NAMB.
— H. Bruce Stokes, chairman of the behavioral and natural science division, California Baptist University, Riverside, Calif.
The luncheon will be held in Room #W-264 in Atlanta’s World Congress Center.
