Midwestern partners with Worldview Weekend Conferences

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (BP)–Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary has begun a partnership with Worldview Weekend Conferences to allow MBTS students to attend the conferences for academic credit.

“This new partnership will encourage and help inform students about the diverse, pluralistic world in which they are sharing the Gospel,” Midwestern Seminary President R. Philip Roberts said. “Consequently, like [the Apostle] Paul on Mars Hill, they will be equipped to contextualize and apply the truths of God’s Word to a lost world.”

Worldview Weekend Conferences are two-day weekend conferences with nationally recognized speakers informing Christian leaders of pressing issues concerning evangelism and ministry.

Worldview Weekend Conferences currently are slated for Oct. 8-9 at the Lincoln Christian School, Lincoln, Neb.; Nov. 5-6 at the Olathe Bible Church, Olathe, Kan.; and Nov. 19-20 at the Immanuel Baptist Church, Wichita, Kan.

Registration fee for the conference is $45 for adults and $35 for college and younger adults. MBTS students may earn either one or two hours of academic credit.
