[1]NASHVILLE, Tenn. (BP)–The new Christian pop group True Vibe joined cast members of the Miramax motion picture “On the Line” at its Oct. 9 premiere at New York’s historic Ziegfield theater.
Following the premiere, Jonathan Lippmann and the guys from True Vibe visited MTV’s “Total Request Live” studios where they met *NSYNC members and former Los Angeles Dodger manager Tommy Lasorda.
On The Line opens nationwide on Oct. 26 and stars *NSYNC’s Lance Bass and Joey Fatone, as well as Richie Sambora and newcomer Emmanuelle Chriqui.
The title song was co-arranged by Lippmann and Dan Muckala, who also produced the song.

— CHARLIE PEACOCK – Producer and songwriter Charlie Peacock is back from a two-year sabbatical to start a new family owned publishing company.
[2]Peacock, who contributes commentary on Christian spirituality and music for NPR’s All Things Considered, has formed Printshop Music Group.
“My calling is to ‘feed the sheep,'” Peacock said. “That is, care for God’s people, equipping them for every good work. Though teaching and writing is something I do more and more, I can see that equipping others through my songwriting and music production skills is still important, essential work.”
— 4HIM – 4Him will be singing the national anthem at “Share Your Faith Night” at the Nashville Predator’s game on Nov. 3.
Following the hockey game, 4Him will perform a full-fledged concert. New band downhere will also be performing songs from their self-titled debut album during the show.
— BELMONT UNIVERSITY – Belmont University is strengthening the Mike Curb School of Music Business and its school of music by expanding its campus directly to Nashville’s famous Music Row. The university has acquired legendary recording studio Ocean Way Nashville in a partnership to form and preserve the facility as a unique commercial and educational treasure.
Belmont President Robert Fisher made the announcement at a press conference Oct. 17 at the Ocean Way Nashville studios. Fisher described the new partnership between Belmont University and Ocean Way Nashville as not only a monumental event for Belmont, but for Music Row, as well.
“We are building a bridge between two of the most successful academic programs in the world and Music Row,” Fisher said. “Our goal is to seamlessly continue the commercial activities of Ocean Way while providing a never-before-seen educational opportunity for Belmont’s music and music business students, as well as for working music professionals and music business educators.”
Ocean Way Nashville serves an impressive client roster including Vince Gill, Michael W. Smith, Harry Connick Jr, Faith Hill, Bob Seger, Yo Yo Ma, Reba McEntire, Garth Brooks, Train, matchbox twenty and The Nashville Symphony, as well as several of Belmont University’s own successful alumni including Trisha Yearwood, Lee Ann Womack and Brad Paisley.
