FORT WORTH, Texas (BP)–Two new websites offer insight into the lives of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary’s president and his wife, who also is an SWBTS professor, Paige and Dorothy Patterson.
Both sites, www.paigepatterson.info and www.dorothypatterson.info, provide information about the Pattersons’ latest publications, speaking engagements and downloadable audio files. Those who access the site for Paige Patterson will find MP3 files of chapel sermons on 1 Peter, and may also ask questions on a broad range of topics.
Dorothy Patterson’s website provides a listing of essential books for ministry and other ministry resources.
Christopher Crouch, coordinator of web services at Southwestern Seminary, designed the websites. He said the interaction the sites offer with the Pattersons is what makes them unique.
“People can simply go to the sites and ask theological questions of Dr. Patterson. They can listen to Mrs. Patterson’s messages on the family and the role of a wife and mother in the ministry of her husband,” Crouch said. “We were pleased to offer this service to our alumni, friends, the people of the Southern Baptist Convention and others who are searching for answers about the important issues of our day.”
