NASHVILLE, Tenn. (BP)–Rick Warren’s runaway phenomenon “The Purpose-Driven Life” remained the best-seller for hardbacks during January for LifeWay Christian Stores, a division of LifeWay Christian Resources.
The national chain of stores, operated by LifeWay Christian Resources of the Southern Baptist Convention, releases a list of best-selling hardbacks, paperbacks, fiction and music based on sales during the previous month.
In other categories, Tim LaHaye’s “Babylon Rising” was No. 1 in fiction and Atlanta-based Casting Crowns reclaimed its top spot in sales for music.
All best-sellers will be featured in the stores at discounted prices through Feb. 28.
