SBC Executive Committee, board nominees announced

SALT LAKE CITY (BP)–Nominees to serve on the Southern Baptist Convention Executive Committee, the four denominational boards — International Mission Board, North American Mission Board, Sunday School Board and Annuity Board — have been selected by the 1998 Committee on Nominations.
They will serve if elected by the messengers to the annual meeting of the Southern Baptist Convention June 9-11at the Salt Lake City Salt Palace Convention Center:
EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE (81 members): 22 nominations considered; 14 new members; 8 renominations.
Nominees with term to expire in 2002, replacing members ineligible for re-election, include James McDaniel, pastor of First Baptist Church, Brinkley, Ark., replacing Ronnie W. Floyd, Springdale, Ark.; Neal H. Walls, layperson and member of Blackshear Place Baptist Church, Flowery Branch, Ga., replacing Lee Roberts, Marietta, Ga.; Clark Stewart, pastor of Harmony Baptist Church, Crystal Springs, Miss., replacing Larry K.
