Seminaries’ Baptist Book Stores become LifeWay Campus Stores

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (BP)–Baptist Book Stores at the six Southern Baptist seminaries will become LifeWay Campus Stores on July 31.
The name change will occur at stores at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, Wake Forest, N.C.; Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, Louisville, Ky.; Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Kansas City, Mo.; New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary; Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Fort Worth, Texas; and Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary, Mill Valley, Calif.
.”We are blessed by our relationships with seminary customers,” said Mark Scott, president of LifeWay Christian Stores. “We view this name transition as a significant catalyst for serving our customers even better. It is an important step as we help people and churches know Jesus Christ and seek his kingdom.”
LifeWay Christian Stores is a leading provider of biblically based books, music, gifts, apparel, services and church supplies, as well as Bibles and other Christian products. The chain is a division of LifeWay Christian Resources, one of the world’s largest Christian ministries.
LifeWay currently operates 82 stores in 21 states. All other non-seminary Baptist Book Stores will complete the name transition to LifeWay Christian Stores by the end of 1999.
