[1]FREDERICK, Md. (BP)–Matt Trammell’s first highlight tape was filmed when he was 5 years old.
Although the family tape is rarely played, the image is clear: Trammell dribbles the ball as he pedals his bike through the neighborhood of his family’s home in Mineral Springs, Ark.
Fast-forward 13 years and thousands of ball bounces later to Trammell’s senior year of high school. You could say he’s grown up, but at 6-foot-5, that’s more than literal. The scenery has changed since his family moved from Mineral Springs to Frederick, Md., but one thing hasn’t: he can still handle the basketball better than any other kid on the block.
