The Chapel at Kempsville Baptist Church, Norfolk, Va., is open from 9:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Monday thru Friday for any family members or friends of those involved in the USS Cole disaster. Ministers are on call if needed and an active Prayer Chain is praying for the USS Cole members and families.
In the BP story titled, “Missions, evangelism opportunities abound for Southern Baptist youth,” dated 10/12/00, please add the following to the list of volunteer missions experiences:
* Challengers — Church-based mission education group, sponsored by the North American Mission Board, designed to mobilize young men as on-mission Christians. Mission action projects and strategies are offered both nationally and internationally.
