WHERE IS THE BUS TOUR TODAY? Ohio & Ky.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (BP)–“The Everyone Can Kingdom Challenge for Evangelism” national bus tour by Southern Baptist Convention President Bobby Welch headed south Tuesday, Sept. 7, with stops slated in Ohio and Kentucky.

The schedule included stops at 10 a.m. at Liberty Heights Baptist Church in West Chester, Ohio, and at 6 p.m. at Highview Baptist Church in Louisville, Ky.

That follows stops Sept. 5 in three northern states: Ezekiel Baptist Church in Philadelphia; Bethany Baptist Church in Wilmington, Del.; and First Baptist Church in Rockville, Md.

No stops were scheduled for the Labor Day holiday Sept. 6.

The tour has two appointments in Tennessee and one in Alabama Sept. 8. LifeWay Christian Resources and the SBC Building in Nashville, Tenn., will be the 7:30 a.m. stop, and Two Rivers Baptist Church in Nashville will be the 11:30 a.m. stop. Welch will proceed to his former home of Fort Payne, Ala., for a 6 p.m. stop at First Baptist Church.

The bus tour was launched Aug. 29 at Welch’s home church in Florida.

Welch conceived of a national bus tour rally as a means of generating a sense of urgency about evangelism among Southern Baptists. The bus tour is a kickoff for “The Everyone Can Kingdom Challenge for Evangelism” campaign which has the goal of “Witness, Win and Baptize … ONE MILLION!” in one year.
