WHERE IS THE BUS TOUR TODAY? West Virginia, Virginia

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (BP)–“The Everyone Can Kingdom Challenge for Evangelism” national bus tour by Southern Baptist Convention President Bobby Welch continued moving up the eastern seaboard Tuesday, Aug. 31, with stops slated in West Virginia and then Virginia.

The schedule included an 8 a.m. stop at Good Shepherd Southern Baptist Church in Scott Depot, W.Va.; 5:30 p.m. at the SBC International Mission Board offices in Richmond, Va.; and 7 p.m. at Richmond’s Staples Mill Road Baptist Church.

Tomorrow’s schedule calls for three stops in New England: 9 a.m. at Primera Iglesia Bautista, Hartford, Conn.; 1:30 p.m. at Hellenic Gospel Church in Newton, Mass.; and 6 p.m. at Faith Baptist Church in Warwick, R.I.

Sunday morning’s launch of the bus tour began at First Baptist Church in Daytona Beach, Fla., followed by a Sunday night stop at First Baptist Church in Richmond Hill, Ga., and two stops Aug. 30, at Hickory Grove Baptist Church in Charlotte, N.C., and First Baptist Church in Spartanburg, S.C.

Welch conceived of a national bus tour rally as a means of generating a sense of urgency about evangelism among Southern Baptists. The bus tour is a kickoff for “The Everyone Can Kingdom Challenge for Evangelism” campaign which has the goal of “Witness, Win and Baptize … ONE MILLION!” in one year.
