NASHVILLE, Tenn. (BP)–“The Everyone Can Kingdom Challenge for Evangelism” national bus tour by Southern Baptist Convention President Bobby Welch will visit churches in Wyoming and Montana on Friday, Oct. 1.

The bus will visit Big Horn Baptist Church in Buffalo, Wyo., at 10 a.m. before traveling to Trinity Baptist Church in Billings, Mont., for a 6 p.m. visit.

On Saturday the bus will visit First Baptist Church in Burley, Idaho, at 10 a.m. and First Baptist Church in West Valley City, Utah, at 6 p.m.

Sunday’s stops include visits to First Southern Baptist Church in Kingman, Ariz., at 10 a.m., and Immanuel Baptist Church in Highland, Calif., at 6 p.m.

On Thursday the bus visited First Baptist Church in Las Vegas, N.M., and First Baptist Church in Aurora, Colo.

The tour began Aug. 29 at Welch’s home church in Florida, First Baptist Church in Daytona Beach, and will end with stops via air travel Oct. 5-7 in Canada, Alaska and Hawaii.

Welch conceived of a national bus tour rally as a means of generating a sense of urgency about evangelism among Southern Baptists. The bus tour is a kickoff for “The Everyone Can Kingdom Challenge for Evangelism” campaign which has the goal of “Witness, Win and Baptize … ONE MILLION!” in one year.
