World Changers sendoff (stand alone photo)

[1]

Jim Burton, volunteer mobilization director for the North American Mission Board, led a prayer during the annual “Great Sendoff” for World Changers summer staff workers at NAMB’s Alpharetta, Ga., offices May 29. More than 70 student summer missionaries traveling in 14 teams will travel across the country and Puerto Rico helping lead 67 World Changers work projects during the summer. World Changers since 1990 has allowed students to actively live out their faith through rehabilitating substandard housing and participating in other community missions efforts. After further training in Shocco Springs, Ala., the summer staff members will help lead the first World Changers projects June 9-16 in Augusta, Ga.; Greenville and Rock Hill, S.C.; West Memphis, Ark.; and Raleigh, N.C.
