Cooperative Program Stage and Platform

[1]

The Cooperative Program Stage and Platform provides an opportunity for messengers to the 2019 SBC annual meeting to “listen in” on a variety of hard-hitting, relevant panel discussions. The panels feature thought leaders, entity heads, missionaries, church planters, bloggers, and other key leaders from across the SBC.

Highlights of the programming include SBC President J. D. Greear speaking on a variety of issues, such as sexual abuse in Southern Baptist churches and his “Who’s Your One?” evangelistic initiative. Messengers will hear from NAMB President Kevin Ezell, IMB President Paul Chitwood, state convention and national Convention leaders, seminary presidents, and other thought leaders. Movie producers Alex and Stephen Kendrick—known for their films War Room, Courageous, and Fireproof—will discuss their soon-to-be-released feature film Overcomer. Other interviews and panel discussions will touch on topics such as church planting, Send Relief, Send Network, adoption, the role of women in ministry, diversity within the SBC, racial reconciliation, Greear and ERLC’s sexual abuse study, unreached people groups, international missions, and more.

Programming will run Monday through Wednesday, June 10–12, beginning at 8:30am each day. A complete interview and panel discussion schedule will be available on the SBC mobile app, in the SBC Bulletin, and at talkCP.com.

The CP Stage and Platform is easy to find. Look for lights, cameras, and crowds of people gathered in the exhibit hall, positioned between the NAMB and IMB displays. So, grab a cup of coffee and join the discussion!
