[1]2026 SBC Ministry Reports now available
NASHVILLE (BP) – The 2026 SBC Ministry Report, which shares organizational and financial details about Southern Baptist entities, is now available [2].
“The 2026 Ministry Report is the compilation of each SBC entity’s updated reports, responses to questions, and other related reports, and is presented in five separate groupings,” says an introduction letter on the SBC website [2].
These groupings are:
- A letter from the entity president
- The entity’s ministry goals and accomplishments
- Ministry inquiries
- Financial statements for entities and seminary formula tables for the seminaries
- Financial audits
Reports from the entities reveal not only the impact they are making when it comes to ministry assignments, but how they are connecting with Southern Baptists and working toward financial accountability.
“Ministry reports provide much more than information about entity accomplishments from the previous year,” said Jonathan Howe, SBC Executive Committee vice president for convention operations.
“These reports underscore how entities steward the Cooperative Program funds allocated to them each year as well as the depth and breadth of Southern Baptist ministry here in the U.S. and around the world.”
Howe said the reports help messengers be prepared for the SBC Annual Meeting.
[3]The information included in the ministry reports will also be available for messengers in the Book of Reports in Orlando.
“Ministry reports are yet another reminder of how Southern Baptists are a force for good in our world,” Howe said.
SBC Executive Committee set to meet Feb. 16-17
NASHVILLE (BP) – The Southern Baptist Convention Executive Committee is set to meet Feb. 16-17 at the BNA Hilton.
The Feb. 16 evening plenary session will feature an update from EC President Jeff Iorg and a sermon from SBC President Clint Pressley.
The next morning, EC members will hear financial and legal updates and take up any remaining motions assigned to them from the 2025 SBC Annual Meeting.
The meeting is the last scheduled meeting for the EC before they gather in Orlando just before the 2026 SBC Annual Meeting.
The EC meeting will be livestreamed on the Baptist Press YouTube page [4].
