RICHMOND, Va. (BP)–A Southern Baptist worker in West Africa tends a sick child whose family belongs to a wandering band of Bella Tuareg people. Perhaps as many as 3 million of the nomadic Tuaregs live in West Africa. Their lifestyle makes it hard to reach them with the good news of God’s love. On May 19, Southern Baptists will observe a day of prayer and fasting for the Tuareg.
