Seminary Luncheons

Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary

Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary will host alumni and friends for the seminary's annual luncheon Wednesday, June 14, following the morning session of the Southern Baptist Convention in Orlando, Fla.

Tickets for the GGBTS luncheon are $15 per person. For ticket informaion, stop by the Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary booth in the SBC Exhibit Hall.

Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary

Alumni and friends of Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary will gather at noon on Wednesday, June 14, in Room 305 of Level 3 of the Orange County Convention Center for the annual alumni luncheon and an update on the seminary.

Tickets for the MBTS luncheon are $17 person. For ticket information, stop by the Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary booth in the SBC Exhibit Hall.

New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary

New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary's annual Alumni & Friends Reunion will be a luncheon meeting Wednesday, June 14, during the Southern Baptist Convention in Orlando.

To begin at noon, the luncheon will be held in the Orange County Convention Center's Valencia Ballroom, Section A, Level 4.

Tickets for the NOBTS luncheon are $15 per person. For ticket informaion, stop by the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary booth in the SBC Exhibit Hall.

Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary

Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary's 2000 National Alumni and Friends Luncheon will be Wednesday, June 14, in the Orlando Convention Center's Valencia Ballroom, Section A, Level 4.

The luncheon will begin around 12:30 p.m., following the conclusion of the morning session of the Southern Baptist Convention.

Tickets for the SEBTS luncheon are $12 per person. For ticket informaion, stop by the Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary booth in the SBC Exhibit Hall.

The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary

The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary will hold its annual alumni and friends luncheon Wednesday, June 14, in conjunction with the Southern Baptist Convention annual meeting in Orlando, Fla.

The 12:30 p.m. luncheon be held in the Orange County Convention Center's Valencia Ballroom, Section C.

Tickets for the SBTS luncheon are $23 per person. For ticket informaion, stop by the Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary booth in the SBC Exhibit Hall.

Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary

Homer G. Lindsay Jr., the longtime pastor of First Baptist Church, Jacksonville, Fla., will be honored posthumously as a distinguished alumni of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary at its national alumni luncheon Wednesday, June 14, in Orlando, Fla.

The luncheon will begin at 12:30 p.m. at the Orange County Convention Center, the site of the SBC annual meeting.

Tickets for the SWBTS luncheon are $15 per person. For ticket informaion, stop by the Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary booth in the SBC Exhibit Hall.

Additional Luncheons

FAITH Sunday School Evangelism

LifeWay Church Resources will hold a FAITH Sunday School Evangelism Strategy information luncheon Tuesday, June 13, 11:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m., in the Valencia Ballroom of the Orange County Convention Center. It is open to anyone interested in learning about the FAITH evangelism strategy that utilizes the Sunday School as the primary means for evangelistic and ministry outreach.

Tickets may be purchased at the FAITH booth in the Exhibit Hall for $12 per person. The luncheon is sponsored by the FAITH/Sunday School Ministry Department of LifeWay Church Resources.

Special Meetings

Joint Ethnic Fellowship

A joint ethnic fellowship – to also encompass members of Anglo churches – will be held Monday, June 12 in connection with the Southern Baptist Convention's June 13-14 annual meeting in Orlando, Fla.

In addition to an open forum for questions and answers, ethnic speakers and music will be featured during the meeting, slated from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, June 12, in Room 304-G-H on Level 3 of the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando. Also from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m., members of the Multicultural Church Network will meet in Room 303-B on Level 3 of the convention center.

The meeting will be a time of fellowship, planning, promoting, and presentations related to multicultural SBC churches. Pastors Paul Kim of Boston and Charles Lyons of Chicago are the co-chairs of the Multicultural Church Network.

Hispanic Church Planters Network

The Third Annual Celebration of the Hispanic Church Planters Network will be Monday, June 12, at Parkway Baptist Church, 9000 Lake Underhill Rd., Orlando, Fla. Dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m., with the program beginning at 7:15 p.m.
