BUIES CREEK, N.C. (BP)–Junior lefthander Wes Hepler of Campbell University has been named Trans America Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Week ending April 1.
Hepler tossed a one-hitter against nationally ranked Jacksonville on Saturday as the Camels won two of three games against the Dolphins. On the year, the lefty owns a 7-1 won-lost record with a 2.37 ERA and 54 strikeouts with just 11 walks in 68 1/3 innings.
