INDIANAPOLIS (BP)--Jonathan Pettigrew doesn’t remember anything about his 100-foot fall down Cheyenne Canyon in December 2002. Instead, he relies on the accounts of friends who watched over his lifeless body during the two-hour wait for rescue personnel.
      Now, less than three years since his near-fatal accident near Colorado Springs, Pettigrew often shares with college students the lessons he’s learned throughout his miraculous recovery.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (BP)--Unlike most Hispanic immigrants, when Carlos and Cristina De La Barra arrived in the United States with their three daughters 14 years ago, it wasn’t a prosperous life they were searching for –- but a more fulfilling one.
      Actually, life was quite comfortable for the De La Barra family in their native Santiago, Chile, where Carlos owned a successful computer company.
