Earlier this year, Richmond (Va.) Times-Dispatch reporter Alberta Lindsey and photographer P. Kevin Morley spent a week in Uganda, observing the work and sampling the life of Southern Baptist Foreign Mission Board missionaries there. The following three stories by Lindsey focus on veteran missionaries Jim and Linda Rice and their daughter , Kristen.
