CORRECTION: A correction in Baptist Press on 12/09/99 included incorrect information that the film “Teaching Mrs. Tingle” included the murder of a teacher. The correction, to the BP story, “Okla. chaplaincy expert reflects on latest school violence outbreak,” dated 12/08/99, was to replace the 15th paragraph. It should correctly read:
He especially bemoaned the release last summer of a movie, “Teaching Mrs. Tingle,” in which students kidnap and torture a teacher. “I wouldn’t be surprised to see something like that happen in the future,” Williams said.
