GGBTS: Campus gains student housing

MILL VALLEY, Calif. (BP)–Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary’s Southern California campus now is offering student housing in partnership with a Christian university in Orange County.

“We are pleased that our Southern California campus is able to provide residence accommodations beginning with the fall 2010 semester,” Jeff Iorg, the seminary’s president, said. “In response to numerous student requests, we were able to procure campus housing for the convenience of students where commuting is not a practical option.”

In partnership with Hope International University in Orange County, both single students and married couples can obtain housing and campus services about 10 minutes from Golden Gate’s Brea, Calif., campus.

“Being able to offer campus housing is another way we are able to meet the needs of our students and fulfill the seminary’s mission to assist in shaping leaders who expand God’s Kingdom around the world,” said Reggie Thomas, director of the Southern California campus.

Thomas noted that the residence halls offer such amenities as a meal plan, campus-wide wireless access, a swimming pool, laundry facilities and community kitchenettes and lounges.

To apply for residence hall housing for the fall semester or for more information, contact Golden Gate’s Southern California campus at 877-237-8478 or [email protected].
