SAN FRANCISCO (BP)--Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary faculty, staff, family members and friends gathered at historic First Baptist Church in San Francisco to celebrate fall graduation Dec. 16. President Jeff Iorg challenged the 41 graduates to depend on God throughout their ministry.

MILL VALLEY, Calif. (BP)--An anonymous donor has pledged $750,000 as a matching gift to Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary to assist in the endowment of the chair of intercultural education. The gift was announced during the seminary’s Intersect ’05 intercultural awareness week sponsored by The David and Faith Kim School of Intercultural Studies.

MILL VALLEY, Calif. (BP)--For the past 10 years, Alfred Yiu Chuen Kong has been accustomed to giving students diplomas at graduation as president of Hong Kong Baptist Theological Seminary. In late May, he was on the other side of the diploma in receiving his doctor of ministry degree from Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary.

MILL VALLEY, Calif. (BP)--Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary held commencement ceremonies for 187 graduates at all five of its campuses throughout the month of May. President Jeff Iorg traveled to the five ceremonies and challenged the graduates to have compassion for the lost and those they serve.
