Thrive ministry wives program at NOBTS celebrates first graduating class

NEW ORLEANS (BP) -- Every student looks forward to graduation day, but 21 women at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and Leavell College had a special reason to celebrate. Together, the women made up the first graduating class of Thrive, the ministry wives certificate program that launched two years ago.

Its quick move across the Gulf of Mexico into Louisiana brought record-breaking electrical outages and widespread damage. Despite loss, the storm brought also opportunities for some in the NOBTS family to share the Gospel and live out their faith.
