INDIANAPOLIS (BP) – The green flag for 2024 SBC Annual Meeting hotel reservations drops on Oct. 2. The listing of convention hotels is now available for those wanting to survey the field.
“Indianapolis has a great setup when it comes to hotels for large events,” said Jonathan Howe, SBC EC interim president and CEO.
“For SBC24, there are available rooms in a dozen hotels connected to the convention center by skywalks,” he said.
There are currently 19 hotels listed at the annual meeting website and the page includes a helpful map. The hotels listed represent more than 15,000 rooms, and the EC staff is in the process of acquiring more, according to Howe.
Nearly 19,000 people attended the 2023 SBC Annual Meeting in New Orleans, using more than 18,500 room nights. Shuttles were used in the Big Easy to help people move from hotels to the convention center.
Howe said shuttles won’t be needed in Indy.
“The convenience provided to messengers and guests by the hotel locations is unmatched,” he said.
“Because of this, we expect hotel rooms to be in great demand again this year, so it will be important to reserve rooms early in the process.”
