The story of Baylor’s immortal ball players

WACO, Texas (BP)–Seventy-five years ago, ten Baylor students — seven of them members of the basketball team — died when a train hit the team’s bus at a crossing in Round Rock. They quickly became known as “The Immortal Ten,” eulogized across the state and nation. But despite becoming one of Baylor’s most hallowed traditions, their story has never been fully told in print-until now.
