Archaeologist recounts discovery of oldest biblical text

FORT WORTH, Texas(BP)--Serendipity plays a role in many of the world’s greatest discoveries, and this was no less the case for biblical archaeologist Gabriel “Gaby” Barkay during a dig he led in Jerusalem 30 years ago. Benefactors’ $16 million gift boosts new chapel at Southwestern

FORT WORTH, Texas (BP)--In what is one of the largest gifts from individuals in the 98-year history of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, long-time seminary benefactors Harold and Dottie Riley have committed $16 million as the lead gift to construct a 3,500-seat chapel on the seminary's campus.
